Building a Deck for an EZ Lap Pool

Remember this picture? It is a 7' x 42' EZ Lap Pool that was installed in the ground. Then the customer covered it with a deck and voile' - a beautiful decked lap pool. But the real beauty was this cost them 1/10th the cost of a traditional in-ground lap pool.

Yes an EZ Lap Pool is a portable pool, but not like those cheap kiddy pools you find at the grocery store during the summer. These are quality, US Made, pools that are built to last. And because an EZ Pool can be place on-the-ground, it can also be place in-the-ground too.

Take a look at the attached pictures to get an idea of just how easy it is to put a deck around an EZ Lap Pool or contact us for advice.

Partially in-the-ground with a Deck

This customer needed to level their ground before they could set up their EZ Lap Pool. But they did not want to go to the extent of going completely into the ground. So they partially dug down to level the ground, then built the deck up around it.

Customer have proven again and again that an EZ Lap Pool can do everything an in-ground pool can do for a whole lot less money. In the case with this customer, they replaced an old metal-sided above-ground pool.

EZ Pool on the ground with a Deck

Sometimes a custom can not go in the ground. In the case of this customer, their house was on a hill. If they put in a traditional in-ground pool, the ground would shift each year, cracking the concrete. So instead, they built a box around an EZ Lap Pool and covered it with flagstone.

The net result is a beautiful extension of their house, with a magnificent view in the background. But more importantly, the use of an EZ Lap Pool not only saved them a tremendous amount of money - it made it possible to have a pool without the impending doom of a cracking shell every year because of ground movement.
